The plastic doesn’t move if people can’t find where to take it.
One of the quietest failures in recycling is distance. Someone willing to collect gives up because the nearest place to hand over materials is an hour away, or because they simply don’t know one exists three streets over.
Bolar closes that gap from both directions. Collectors see participating collection points near where they live and work. Operators become discoverable to the people already collecting in their area, without spending on outreach to find them.
Service 02 — Instant payments
Under 60 seconds. Real cash. No minimum, no vouchers, no waiting for month end.
This is the service everything else is built around. Materials are weighed, the operator confirms, and payment goes out immediately.
Collectors choose how they receive it. Bank transfer to any Nigerian commercial bank. Mobile money to OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint. Or airtime on MTN, Airtel, Glo or 9mobile. Whichever suits the person and the moment.
The collector shows a secure code. The operator scans it, weighs the materials and selects the type. Payment is calculated automatically based on the operator’s rates and the collector’s tier. The operator confirms, and the money moves.
Payment speed is the single largest driver of collector retention. Operators using Bolar keep the people their business depends on.
Service 03 — Operations tracking & carbon credits
Run your operation with clear data, then turn that data into a second revenue stream.
Every collection Bolar processes is recorded permanently on the blockchain: the material type, the weight, the location, the time, and the amount paid. That record can’t be edited or deleted by anyone, including us.

Bolar changes that. Every collection adds to a running total she can see: kilograms collected, what it represents in her community, how far she is from her next milestone.
At 100 kilograms, 500 kilograms and one tonne, she earns a permanent milestone badge. These badges can’t be bought, sold or transferred to anyone else. They can only be earned by doing the work, and once earned they’re hers permanently.
