Cookie Policy
A short and unusually specific answer: this website currently sets no cookies of its own. Here is exactly what it does do.
1. The short version
This website sets no cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing is written to your device by Bolar when you browse these pages.
No third party is contacted either. Every file comes from our own domain, so nobody else sees your IP address when you read these pages. Section 4 explains.
If that changes — and it may, if we add analytics — we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.
3. What we currently use

Because we set nothing in any of these categories, this site shows no cookie banner. A banner asking permission to set nothing would be theatre.
The forms on this site — demo requests, the collection-point list, the newsletter and the contact form — send what you type when you press the button. They do not store anything on your device beforehand.
4. Third-party requests
There are none. Every file this website needs — the stylesheet, the scripts, the fonts and the images — is served from our own domain. Your browser contacts nobody else while you read these pages.
That is a deliberate choice. Loading a font or a script from someone else’s server hands them your IP address on every page view, and means a compromise of their server becomes a compromise of ours. We removed both of the external dependencies this site originally had:
- The typeface (DM Sans) is self-hosted under its open font licence, rather than requested from Google Fonts.
- The styling library was removed entirely rather than loaded from a content delivery network.
If we ever add an embedded map, video or similar, we will name it here and explain what it receives before we ship it.
5. Controlling cookies yourself
Even though we set none, you may want to control what other sites do. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies will not break this website, because it does not rely on any.
6. The Bolar apps
This policy covers the website only. The collector and operator applications store information on the device so they can work offline and sync when a connection returns. What they store, and why, is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this policy
If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential technology, we will update this page, and ask for your consent before it runs.
